How PaidPad works

PaidPad launches real pump.fun tokens with 1–10 SOL committed behind them. If the token migrates, the commitment is refundable.

Overview

A commitment shows that a creator is willing to put SOL behind their launch. You choose the amount, it is sent in the same transaction that creates your token, and every launch shows its commitment publicly on its token page and in Explore.

The token itself is a normal pump.fun coin. It trades on pump.fun like any other token; PaidPad does not change how trading works.

The launch transaction

Everything happens in one atomic Solana transaction, signed by your wallet. If any instruction fails, the whole transaction fails and no commitment is transferred.

01
system::transfer
Your commitment, exactly 1–10 whole SOL, goes from your wallet to the PaidPad treasury.
02
pump::create_v2
The token is created on pump.fun with your name, ticker and metadata, paired with SOL.
03
pump::buy
Optional dev buy: your first purchase of your own token.

After it confirms, the PaidPad server checks the transaction on-chain: that it succeeded, that you signed and paid, that the token was created by pump.fun with the submitted name, ticker and metadata, and that the treasury received exactly the chosen commitment. Only then is the launch listed.

Commitment

Choose any whole amount from 1 to 10 SOL. There is no free-form input and no decimals: the amount is fixed when you sign and shown on the token page afterwards.

Besides the commitment (and any dev buy), a launch needs about 0.03 SOL for network fees and rent.

Dev buy

You can optionally buy your own token in the same transaction, up to 50 SOL. The dev buy is your own purchase at the pump.fun price: you receive the tokens, and it is not refundable. Your wallet pays at most the dev buy plus 1%.

Migration and refunds

When a pump.fun token completes its bonding curve it migrates. For a PaidPad launch, migration is what makes the commitment refundable.

Once migration is verified, the commitment is sent back to the wallet that launched the token, never to any other address. The token page then shows REFUNDED, the amount returned and, when available, the refund transaction on Solscan.

If the token does not migrate, the commitment is not refundable. The CLAIM button on token pages becomes available after migration.

Safety

  • Your wallet shows and signs the full transaction. PaidPad never asks for your seed phrase.
  • Before you sign, the site checks the prepared transaction: fee payer, treasury, exact commitment, programs and compute budget.
  • The token's mint key is generated in your browser, used once to sign, and never stored.
  • There is no treasury private key anywhere in the app.

FAQ

What is the commitment?

SOL you put behind your launch: 1 to 10 whole SOL, sent to the PaidPad treasury in the same transaction that creates your token.

When do I get it back?

Your commitment becomes refundable if your token migrates off the pump.fun bonding curve. It goes back to the wallet that launched the token, and the token page shows it as refunded.

What if my token doesn't migrate?

The commitment is only refundable after migration. Commit an amount you are comfortable putting behind the launch.

Is it a normal pump.fun token?

Yes. PaidPad creates it with the official pump.fun program, paired with SOL, and it trades on pump.fun like any other coin.

What is the dev buy?

An optional first buy of your own token, up to 50 SOL, in the same transaction. It is your own purchase and is not refundable.

Does PaidPad hold my keys?

No. Your wallet signs the transaction. The token's mint key is generated in your browser, used once to sign, and never stored.

What does a launch cost?

Your commitment, any dev buy, and about 0.03 SOL for network fees and rent.
